Mountain View Electric Association (MVEA) is proud to announce our partnership as a host institution for the Clean Energy Innovator Fellowship Program (CEIF), facilitated by the Department of Energy. This collaboration marks a significant step towards advancing clean energy solutions and fostering talent in the energy sector.
The Clean Energy Innovator Fellowship (CEIF) program, administered by the Department of Energy, is designed to support recent graduates and energy professionals in implementing critical initiatives aimed at decarbonizing the power system, electrifying transportation and industry, and promoting resilience and inclusivity in the U.S. energy landscape.
The Innovator Fellow will support the Mountain View Electric Association's development of a demand response program to lower peak demand and stabilize rates. They will also assist with data analysis, program development, and financial modeling. The goal is to reduce power costs, maintain affordability, and support clean energy development.
Ideal candidates for the Fellowship will possess experience in market assessment, modeling, data analysis, and proficiency in Microsoft 365. Additionally, an interest in distribution operations and renewable energy generation is highly desirable.

Salaries for this fellowship program are based on degree level and years of relevant, professional work experience. Here are the ranges by degree type:
- Bachelor’s degree: $57,120 - $74,250
- Graduate degree: $62,900 - $81,780
- Doctoral degree (includes PhD & JD): $82,830 - $107,680
