2 lucky MVEA member households will be announced as winners on June 8
Falcon, CO – Mountain View Electric Association, Inc. (MVEA) wants to help their members become proficient at being energy efficient, so they are offering two members a chance to win a $500 whole home LED lighting package. Two lucky giveaway winners will be announced at MVEA’s 76th Annual Meeting of Members at Limon Public Schools in Limon, CO, on June 8, 2017. (Winners do not need to be present to win.) To enter, members will need to complete the entry form at www.mvea.coop/LEDgiveaway.
As a not-for-profit electric co-op, 1 of MVEA’s goals is to make sure every member takes advantage of energy efficiency programs that decrease kilowatt-hour use and increase member savings.
When members participate in one of MVEA’s energy efficiency programs, they not only use less electricity and save on their monthly electric bill, but they are also helping to reduce the overall demand for electricity within MVEA’s co-op territory. The decrease in demand, especially during peak hours, allows MVEA to offset the impact of increasing wholesale power costs by reducing the amount of power needing to be purchased. Energy efficiency helps us all save. It is a team effort. And, it can start with something as small as a LED bulb.
Entering the $500 Whole Home LED Lighting Giveaway is as easy as switching to cost-saving LED bulbs! Members simply need to complete and entry form at our LED Giveaway page by Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 5:30 p.m.
