Scheduled Power Outage Affecting Area Residents

Power will be out on October 29 from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m.

 Falcon, CO – Mountain View Electric Association, Inc. (MVEA) will have a scheduled outage from 1 a.m. until 5 a.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2017.  This outage will affect the service of members in portions of Calhan, Colorado Springs, Elbert, Elizabeth, Franktown, Kiowa, Larkspur, Monument and Peyton.

Although MVEA strives to minimize outage times and complete maintenance during the given time frame, events in the field could cause minor changes.

This outage is necessary for Tri-State Generation and Transmission, MVEA’s power supplier, to upgrade equipment in the nearby substation in a safe and efficient manner.
