Energy Efficient Commercial Lighting

Looking for ways to make your new or existing commercial building energy efficient? EnergyStar.gov has tools to help you find ways to save energy and money in commercial buildings. Implementing environment-friendly changes may not only decrease your businesses operating costs, it may also show leadership in your industry towards being cleaner and greener. That is why we think it is so important to make energy saving LED commercial lighting a priority. Switching to LEDs at your business helps decrease the maintenance for your lighting. According to ENERGY STAR® LED bulbs last 20 times longer than incandescent bulbs, so your business would be significantly increasing the life of your lighting system. LED lighting costs continue to drop, making them one of the leading ways to make sustainable advancements at your business. While consumers are demanding more sustainable ways to do business, the cost of upgrading may be a challenge. So MVEA, partnered with Tri-State Generation & Transmission, is offering commercial lighting rebates to help make the switch to LEDs more affordable for our local businesses.

Ready to make the switch?

If you know your equipment information and hours of operation, start by using our interactive Commercial Lighting Incentive spreadsheet to view your initial savings. The spreadsheet allows you to enter what your current lighting equipment is and compare the savings by switching to an energy efficient LED bulb and it provides return on investment estimates.

As your local and trusted source for your energy efficiency needs, our Key Accounts Representative, Kevin Holbrook, is readily available to help you through the commercial lighting rebate process or answer any commercial lighting questions you may have. If you are submitting a rebate for LED commercial lighting, new lighting or retrofit, LED Care Lighting, or LED Street Lighting please contact Kevin Holbrook at 719-494-2685 or (800) 388-9881 to schedule a pre-installation inspection.
