We’re committed to helping you reduce your energy consumption, lower your bills, and improve the comfort of your home. By taking advantage of energy-efficient rebates and incentives, you can save money while making smarter energy choices. This page will provide information about available rebates, federal and state incentives, and how to apply them to your next energy-efficient upgrade.
Cooperative-Specific Rebates & On-Bill Repayment Program
At Mountain View Electric Association (MVEA), we’re dedicated to helping our members make energy-efficient upgrades to their homes and reduce their energy costs. Through our Energy Efficiency Rebates program, in partnership with Tri-State Generation and Transmission, we offer exclusive rebates for select energy-efficient products, promoting sustainability and cost savings.
In addition to rebates, we also offer an On-Bill Repayment (OBR) program, allowing members to install qualifying energy upgrades with no upfront cost. With this program, members can repay the cost of the upgrades through monthly payments added to their electric bill over an agreed-upon timeframe (up to 10 years). In many cases, the energy savings achieved through the upgrades are greater than the monthly repayment obligation, helping you save money on your utility bill each month.
Whether you’re looking to take advantage of rebates or spread the cost of upgrades over time, MVEA provides the support and options to make energy-efficient improvements more accessible and affordable.
