Don’t have a SmartHub account, but need to make a one-time payment online? SmartHub offers a safe, secure, and convenient “Pay Now” option. You will need the:

Important Switch & Save Program Information

Switch and Save Credits with Bank Account Auto-Pay through SmartHub requires electronic reoccurring payments from your bank account.

Auto-Pay enrollment with a debit or credit card is not eligible for Switch and Save Credits.

Switch and Save Credits are dependent upon continued monthly enrollment and will terminate upon discontinuance of Paperless Billing or Bank Account Auto-Pay through SmartHub.

MVEA accepts payments in person Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Falcon or Limon Location. You can make a payment with:

Checks and money orders are accepted in drop box locations throughout our service territory. See drop box locations below. Writing a check? Make sure to use black or blue ink to ensure your payment can be processed properly.

Call (877) 999-3415 to make a Credit Card payment through the automated system.

MVEA Falcon Office: 11140 E. Woodmen Road, Falcon, 80831. Next to the drive-up window on the east side of the building.

MVEA Limon Office: 1655 5th Street, Limon, 80828. North side of the west entrance to member parking.

Black Forest: Near the shops at the southwest corner of Shoup and Black Forest Roads.

Calhan: East of the Loaf N’ Jug entrance at 1015 5th Street.

Cimarron Hills: Shopping center near Kwik Way, on Peterson Road and Palmer Park Boulevard.

Elbert: South entrance to Elbert High Plains Mini Mart, located at 24501 Elbert Highway.

Ellicott: Ellicott Plaza, 23355 Highway 94. North part of parking lot, between the U.S. Postal Service drop box and the Pikes Peak Library book box.

Jackson Creek: King Soopers, east of the front door. Located at 1070 W. Baptist Road.

Monument: Safeway, the black box is on the island at the west end of the store located at 624 Highway 105.

Peyton: Northeast corner of Peyton Highway and Highway 24.

Simla: In front of the U.S. Post Office, west of the door.

Important Payment Drop Box Processing Information:

Allow for 48 to 72 business hours for payment processing if you are using a payment drop box.
Do not use a payment drop box if your payment is due right away or if it is past due (it may delay the processing of your payment).

To make a payment bring the following items to the MoneyGram location:

  • Cash in the amount of your payment plus the $1.50 MoneyGram fee
  • Your MVEA account number
  • Receive code 15113

Budget billing is available, to eligible members in good standing, and provides 12 equal monthly billing amounts for electric use. Budget amounts are calculated from the member’s previous 12 month’s bills and adjusted for any rate changes that were effective during the year. The budget amount will be recalculated annually and the difference between actual use and the total amount the member has paid will be evaluated. Prepaid Metering is a pay-as-you-go electric service and a new way to pay for your electricity. You pay in advance for the electricity you will be using – no late fees or security deposit required.

Prepaid benefits include:

  • No deposit required
  • No late fees
  • No collection or reconnect fees
  • Easier budgeting
  • Timely information about electric usage
