If you live around Falcon or Rush, Mountain View Electric Association, Inc. (MVEA) is bringing more power to these areas. The Falcon and Rush Substations are both in the process of getting upgraded transformers. In order to do this, mobile substations were brought in to carry the power while the upgrades are completed. MVEA and Tri-State Generation & Transmission brought in the mobile substation for Falcon; the Rush mobile substation was a joint effort between MVEA and partnering Colorado cooperatives, Y-W Electric Association and Highline Electric Association.
