How to Submit an Entry
- Review the Photo Calendar Submission Guidelines & Requirements below.
- If all the guidelines have been met, submit your photo online using our form below, or mail it to Mountain View Electric Association, Attn: Communications, 11140 E. Woodmen Rd. Falcon, CO 80831.

Photo Calendar Submission Guidelines & Requirements
- Photos must have horizontal/landscape orientation.
- Photos must be taken within MVEA’s service territory.
- Only MVEA members, directors, employees, and their family members are eligible to participate in the photo calendar contest.
- High-resolution digital entries are preferred. The minimum resolution required is 300 dpi. The resolution of digital photos printed on home printers is too low for commercial printing.
- Photos will not be accepted without a completed entry form which can be found below. Submit a separate entry form for each photograph.
- By entering the contest, photographers give MVEA permission to publish images from the photo contest calendar, in Colorado Country Life magazine, print and digital publications, on social media, and MVEA’s website.
- We’re always accepting photos. However, the entry period for our 2025 calendar ended on July 8, 2024. The entry period for our 2026 calendar has started and runs through July 10, 2025.

Photo Calendar Contest
Every year, MVEA receives photo calendar contest submissions capturing the beauty of Colorado. This year, over 150 photos were submitted and reviewed for consideration. The 2025 calendar includes January 2026 and features two additional winning submissions for each month. The main featured photo for each month is shown below.
A limited number of 2025 calendars will be available starting in November to MVEA members in the Falcon and Limon offices as well as distribution locations throughout our service territory, including:
- Tri-Lakes Printing (Monument): Visit their website for hours of operation.
